Athens Columns [ISA Services, Inc.]

The Athens Columns architectural component is used for Java applicationconfiguration support. The Columns package contains Java interfaces andclasses that provide a configuration facility to allow users tomanipulate application behavior using external sources instead ofrecompiling the program. The ConfigFacility class is configured with aConfigSource object and provides convenient methods for retrievingconfiguration information as built-in types. Several concreteConfigSource classes are provided with the Athens Columns package. Theuser is free to extend the Columns framework by implementing additionalclasses to access existing or new configuration sources.
